Day 30 - Share something you learned about playing your character.
I think I've learned two really important things about playing my character, both from the pov of a player and that of a GM. First and foremost, I've learned that the characters I play need to have a strong motivation and set of goals (even if those will change over time) so as to give the character a frame of reference as well as a clear motivation. Secondly, I've learned that the characters I play (especially when I'm a player) have to work with the other player characters and have some element of personality that allows them to be somewhat gregarious. When GMing, this is less important of course, but the social quotient (as I like to call it) for NPCs and people the player characters in my games will meet can be an important factor.
