A Busy Week Ahead
The last few days of February are upon us, and it promises to be a busy week for me.
Tomorrow, I've got my annual eye doctor appointment. Being diabetic, this is an important deal for me. Promises to be a long morning at the Eye Clinic at the Ottawa General Hospital, and then visually challenging due to the dilating drops they administer before the other tests.
Wednesday is another hospital day. First off, I have to have my six-month diabetes blood tests done, and then it's off to the General again for two ultrasounds of my ankles. The latter tests have been scheduled for almost five months, and I'll be glad to get them over with. Just hope they don't show anything too bad.
Friday will see me driving mom around to several appointments and possibly a bit of grocery shopping.
Suffice to say it's going to be a long week, one where I'm going to need to rest up my feet and body a bit on the weekend. Then it's more doctor appointments next week. Oh, joy, oh bliss! NOT!
