Sunday Morning, and Gaming (Not) Thoughts
It's Sunday morning. A somewhat cold day here in the Ottawa valley.
I woke up this morning feeling somewhat tired and a little bit exhausted, as I'm feeling pretty ill due to the virus/cold thing that I've got.
The weather here in Ottawa is about to get nasty, with a major snow storm coming up today (around 25+ centimetres of snow expected), and as I look out the window, it's started to snow pretty hard. Tammy won't be out to today regardless, as she's got an infected tooth - and there's that weather thing. I've just spoken to SteveR, and told him Tammy won't be out, and he agreed that we'll take the day off from gaming.
Speaking of gaming, the GenCon 2017 Housing registration begins today at 12:00 noon. I was assigned a time of 6:37pm tonight to access the Housing Portal, so we'll see how that goes...or doesn't. (I don't have fond memories of the process from 2015, so...) I just hope that I manage to get the hotel that I'm trying for, but I've got a plan this year in case that doesn't work out.
No gaming this afternoon with the Sunday group means I'll be taking it easy this afternoon. May do a bit of reading of the Coriolis - The Third Horizon main rulebook, but the (new) book is still very smelly (and seems to be bothering my lungs).
In the meantime, I'm going to take a hot shower. Hopefully feel better, too.
