Wednesday morning. The middle of the week.
It's a snowy, blustery, somewhat cold day here in the Ottawa valley. There's a winter storm warning in effect, and it's supposed to drop between 10-15 centimetres of snow on Ottawa today, turning into freezing rain by the late afternoon, and then continuing to do that into tomorrow.
I feel marginally better than I did yesterday, which is saying something, and I managed to get a good 7 hours of sleep last night.
I'm working from home for the day, a decision that I made on Monday and/or yesterday when I heard about the snow storm 'a coming, and to be honest, I'm glad with my decision. Work is not crazy busy this morning, as I've been told that about 45% of the office staff are taking the day off due to the weather, but we're getting a good deal of work done so far today.
As I look out the windows of the house, it continues to dump snow in quantity, though it looks like a fine fog at the moment.
Back to work, after I make a cup of herbal tea in the kitchen.
