It's Friday morning in the Ottawa valley, and it's going to be a scorcher of a day. Well, the next couple of days, actually, with temperatures in the low 30s Celsius. Uggh! For those who are attending
Ottawa ComicCon, be careful, hydrate, and take care this weekend. (Especially those who are costumers and cosplayers.)
Work this morning, as expected, is busy, as we start the wrapping up process on the current language translation project I've got my team working on. We're going to try and get the project finished by the Victoria Day weekend, but I don't know if that's possible, though my boss has told me not to push it for that date. I've got a good team, so there's no pressure, but we'll just see how things go.
Gaming for the weekend is off with the Friday and Sunday groups. Three of my Friday gamers will be out of town for the weekend, and Sunday is Mother's Day, so there won't be any gaming on that day for this year. So this means I won't be running the
River of Heaven game on Friday night (tonight) or the
Atlantis: The Second Age game on Sunday afternoon. However, in good news, the Wednesday night players have expressed an interest in playing some
Chill 3rd Edition this weekend, so we'll be getting together for that on Saturday night. Looking forward to this. :)
