It's Friday morning in the Ottawa valley, and the last Friday of the month of March.
The day has started off with snow here, though the temperature will rise up enough that the snow that's still falling as I write this is likely to melt away by the end of day. Typical end of March kind of day. Work is busy this morning, moreso than usual, but I'm not complaining as it's keeping me occupied and my mind's not on other stuff.
Health-wise, I'm doing as well as can be expected, I guess. My left ankle is in serious pain, but I've been managing as best I can. I'm still suffering side effects of the new diabetes medication I'm taking, but the benefits seem to be worth the moments of misery. My bowels have tortured me somewhat the last couple of days, and that's all I'm saying on that subject.
It occurs to me this morning that I've been negligent with my roleplaying blogging, as I'd forgotten about the
Primeval RPG session from Wednesday night. I need to blog that up to the LJ this afternoon when I get home, once I do the transcribing of my notes. This evening, I'll be running the Friday night group on their continuing
River of Heaven campaign, so I'm looking forward to that.
In the meantime, back to the work stuff for now. And a cup of chai tea, methinks.
