Insulin Education Appointment
Another cold and wet chilly day here in the Ottawa valley.
Last night, was not a good night. I had a terrible night's sleep, tossing and turning all night and waking several times during the darkness hours. Don't feel rested at all today.
Came in to work, and things are slow for the morning, which has been good.
I did receive a call about ten minutes ago from the Diabetes Clinic. The doctor obviously wants me to start taking insulin sooner rather than later. The diabetic nurse called to let me know that there's a cancellation at 1:00 pm this afternoon that they're fitting me in for. Out of the blue, as they say. Eek!
I guess I'll be starting the insulin in the next day or so, perhaps. (Not really sure how this process works, and what happens after the appointment.) Stressing in a major way. Oh, and did I mention that I am scared shiteless?
