Back From Montreal
What a long day that was!
Got back from Montreal about 8:35 pm this evening. The drives down to Montreal and then the one back to Ottawa were both enjoyable, as I got to spend some time chatting and talking about stuff with my sister and mother.
It was a good visit to Montreal. It's been a couple of years since I went to visit my father's grave, and I was pleased to see that the tombstone and the plot there are being kept in such good condition. Montreal was pleasant to visit once more, and we did a bit of shopping and ate some good food. I brought 2 lbs. of Schwartz's smoked meat home with me, frozen of course.
In the meantime, I've had a cup of tea and some biscuits, and will just clean upstairs a bit and do the breakfast dishes. Then, time for bed. I've got a long week ahead of me between doctors' appointments and work. Need some sleep.
