Thursday morning.
It's been a long week, to be honest, due to working at the office and then coming home to work on the layout editing job that I just did for a certain game company. I'm pretty exhausted for the most part, having spent way too much time on the computer both at work and at home. Going to avoid spending too much time on the computer at home after work the rest of the week and most of the weekend.
The weather in Ottawa has been interesting so far this week, with days of cold and days of heat, and nighttime temperatures just above the freezing mark. But the weather seems to be warming up somewhat at the moment this morning, and might be going into the mid-20s Celsius if the forecast was right.
Work has been quite busy, and the work week has gone by in a flash as my co-workers and I put the language translation project we're working on right now to bed next week. I'll have two days of down-time at work to just take care of wrapping up the odds and ends of the project once it's done, and then we'll be starting in on a new project by the middle of the week.
Gaming-wise, I'll be running the Friday and Sunday gaming groups through their paces in the
Yggdrasill game system this week, though I'll need to familiarise myself with the basic rules and combat mechanics again, as I've been a bit focused on the game that I've been doing the layout editing for the early part of this week.
Finally, my enthusiasm for the
HammerCon convention that I'll be attending in Hamilton in early November has been dampened somewhat by the fact that with less than a month and a half to go before the convention, I saw this morning on the website that I've barely got any players for the two
Primeval RPG games I'll be running at the convention. Feh.
