Just got home from the doctor's office.
The news is thus-and-thus. First off, the doctor isn't all that upset at my results from the diabetes tests, and after looking at my diabetes blood sugar journal since I started the Januvia, said that I'm doing much better with things, although the a1C test that I have before my next Diabetes Clinic appointment will tell the true story.
The bad news is the PSA test results. My PSA levels have gone from 2.2 to 4.1, and the doctor is somewhat concerned about this. He did the dreaded DRE on me, and found that it was inconclusive, so we're going to run another PSA test (that has to be done at the hospital) next month (October) and see what that yields. After that, he'll decide what the next step is. Since there was some concern a couple of years back about my prostate, we'll see what happens in October.
For now, I'm going to distract myself watching another few episodes of
Dark Shadows on Youtube.
