Mom's Home
My mom is out of the hospital.
She called me at 3:00 pm this afternoon to let me know she had just got home from the Ottawa General.
The doctors ran the MRI last night, around 8:30 pm, and this morning came around to tell her that they would do another set of blood tests before they made any decision. It turns out the MRI was clear, and there was no sign of infection in her blood work, so they made the decision to let her out of the hospital and to go home. They say she likely passed the gallstone and the condition has cleared up. For now. They think the liver and gall bladder problems likely had something to do with the chemotherapy that she had for the cancer, so they've given her strict instructions about diet and the like.
I'm glad she's out of the hospital and that she's home.
