Of Work and Gaming on a Friday Morning
Woke up this morning somewhat tired, as I had trouble falling asleep last night.
Went in to work this morning with the car pool, and there were no problems with that. Still haven't heard back from the garage about the state of my car, and what's causing the oil or some-sort-of fluid leaks, but will try to call the garage around lunch time for an update.
Work so far this morning has gone as well as can be expected, and the pile of paper on my desk today has been somewhat smaller than is usual on Fridays. Not that I'm complaining, mind you. The boss seems to be in a decent mood today (perhaps due to the fact that it's Friday?) but I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth.
On the gaming front, my time as a player in the Friday night group comes to an end tonight, as Nick will be wrapping up his run of the Primeval RPG. He's done a good job with the game, and I've enjoyed playing in it so far, and look forward to the adventure conclusion tonight. I'll be going back to my GMing duties with the Friday night group next week, on the 2nd of August. Sad about this in some ways, as I was enjoying my getting to play. In the Sunday group, spross is still running the Primeval RPG, although we've only played one session, sort of, the entire month so far. :( He's only got one more session to run for the month, although if the scenario doesn't finish this weekend, he'll be running into the first or second week of August, but it would be nice to know when I've got to start prepping to run again on the Sunday. Still, I can't complain, as I've enjoyed my month off from GMing. (If only I could convince Nick or spross to run for an extended period of time, I'd be even happier. I *want* to play more!)
