Sunday (Late) Morning Thoughts
Woke up this morning feeling fine, though a bit tired. I went to bed rather late last night after browsing through the Ringworld RPG game material last night, and lost track of time. (More on the Ringworld game in another post, if I remember.)
Today is going to be an interesting day. I've started off the day with a couple of croissant and café au lait for breakfast. I'm getting ready to eat some lunch, and plan to have a ham and chicken salad. I'll be gaming with the Sunday group this afternoon, but I'm not running. I spoke to spross about it yesterday, and he's decided that he's going to try and run for the month, starting today, and that he's going to run the Primeval RPG. So we'll see how that goes. This afternoon, there will be some blackforest cake, as my mom decided to pick one up for my birthday this year. I'll only eat a piece or so of the cake, as that's the limit I'm setting for myself this year on that matter. Then this evening, after the gaming session, spross and I will be going out to dinner at Dunn's Famous Deli. Hopefully, I'll be back at the house in time to watch this week's new episode of Continuum. That would be a nice ending to the day, I think. So I'm looking forward to the rest of the day.
The weather today, judging from current conditions, is going to be hot, but that's all right as I'm inside. I have to say that the ductless air condition works really well, and it's one of the most comfortable summers that I've spent in a long time so far. ::knock on wood::
In the meantime, I've got make some lunch before gaming.
