Music software
Oh people of Livejournal, hear my plea (or something similar)
I have decided the mess of files that is my mp3 collection needs sorting out, hence I need to get a piece of software to do said duty. what I would like it to do is:
Allow me to sort the music by artist / genre etc
Allow me to produce playlists
Allow me to update meta info like artist name, album etc
Preferably allow me to change the actual file name of all the music files to a consistant style.
Given I am understanding the iplayer is the devil in an almost microsoft like manner, I am asking for suggestions of what I should use to achieve this task.
