(no subject)
okay so it really bugs me when people IM while I'm asleep and forgot to put up an away message and they sound really urgent, asking me to come back now. Especially when it's a girl I really like. It basicly only bugs me though because I'm worried, and I feel bad because I wasn't around when she needed me and I can only assume that it was a vary bad thing that I wasn't there. I'm sure it's fine. That everything is okay... but still, I'm worried.

So yeah I asked Miya about the Quaker religion. It sounds pretty awesome. While they still have faith, they are given a lot freedom. Basicly to have faith in what they want to have faith in. As far as Miya knew, it's not based in christianity. And there is no power in it. Everyon is treated equally. So god doesn't rule over people, Priests don't rule over the common worshiper, there is no higherarchy. I really like that. It's a lot like our class is set up actually. In highschool and most school, it's all about the teacher telling us what to do, and we're the students so we must obey or else. In this class, the teachers tell us to treat them like fellow adults and they will treat us the same. They insist we call them by first name. They do the assignments with us. They sit down in a circle with us. That's how the Quaker meetings are set up. They sit in a circle. I think it's very interesting the parralells that can be drawn.
