Dudes time-travelling through motel room closets
I haven't watched Supernatural since season 6, but I got curious about Abaddon and decided to watch the first episode she appears in. A+ decision, let me tell you. Not so much for the boys, who I still love and are still neck deep in daddy issues, but mostly because a Lauren Bacall demon queen is just what I need in my media right now.
I have been considering recording this random Stargate: Universe story I love and re-read frequently as a podfic, since I....re-read it quite frequently. I do not actually know if I have an even marginal quality reading voice, but lately I've enjoyed reading aloud sections of things I'm writing for practice in character voice consistency and I kind of think it might be fun? I don't know, I don't generally branch out!
Yesterday, Gerard Way tweeted about supernatural detectives, and I mean, as much as I'm not surprised we are interested in the same kind of stories, there's genre conventions and then there's getting a little too close, you know?
Today I am restless and distracted by tremors in the workplace office culture and I am wearing a fabulous outfit and super red lipstick I bought at CVS yesterday because I was having a miserable day. I find comfort in Halloween candy and bold lip color, what can I say.
