It's the day before Thanksgiving and it is rainy, gloomy and I have zero motivation. Are you stuck in an office like me, destined to get nothing done? Are you on a bus or a train? Are you home and stir-crazy? Are you just generally bored out of your mind? Then come and play

Frank's checking the prop table against the tally list and the stage manager's a cool dude and lets him go on a smoke break out back behind the theater building. There's one of the theater kids there, Frank recognizes him as the dude who sits slouched in front in class and gets really excited about light cues and talks really fast about stuff Frank couldn't understand. The dude's singing, something that sounds AMAZING but also sounds like it's from a musical and Frank hates musicals but he loves this guy's voice, and the way he's strutting around like no one's watching, except for CREEPER FRANK. And then the guy sees him and is like, "hey" and Frank is like, "hey" and the guy introduces himself as Gerard, and Frank introduces himself and the guy is like, "Oh, I know who you are, who do you think those people you made cry last class came to to bitch about what a jerk you are" in this way that makes Frank feel like shit.
So then Frank has a mission, he's going to make it up to Gerard, and the class, and he is going to throw himself into this musical, ok, he is going to be the master prop master, he is going to volunteer his time to paint the set, he is going to be a BETTER MAN (well, it's a nice idea) and anyway, he ends up spending a lot more time with Gerard, who really cares about this musical and all the other theater kids and he's still really wary of Frank because BAD FIRST AND SECOND AND ETC IMPRESSION.
Will Gerard ever like him? Will Frank survive the show (god, these theater kids are INTENSE!) Spoiler: There is late night coffee at the all-night diner and Frank pitching in to help at just the right moment, and Frank bringing Gerard honey when his throat starts to get sore right before dress rehearsal, and, then, eventually, EVENTUALLY, making out backstage! (Frank still isn't a theater kid OK? OK? HE CAN CARE ABOUT THE PRODUCTION and the cast and crew without it being a THING, OK?)
