It's a shame you're a delusion
Angsty tv I have watched this week: X-Files, Never Again and Memento Mori; Fringe, The Cure (the one where we find out some alarming Olivia backstory); the end of Stargate season 5 where Daniel ascends. I did not actually watch Wrath of Khan, although frankly I didn't really need to, because the circumstances of Daniel's radiation poisoning is so very much like the end of that movie that I found myself saying gleefully, over and over, "Daniel is Spock!" I've also since watched the beginning of season six, up to and including Abyss, an episode which continues to delight me even after repeated viewings. Daniel brings out Jack's pitch-perfect cranky chemistry.
Today's weather has taken a turn to the cloudy and I am having an extra cup of coffee because today's workday is about to begin with a jaw-clenching meeting. Hopefully I'll be sitting far enough away from the chair to scribble story notes on the agenda.
