Is there such a thing as sleepwriting?

A list of things that I find deeply fascinating today, in no particular order, by jjtaylor, resident giant sleepy-head:

1. James Dewees - Having seen Leathermouth and Reggie and the Full Effect last night, I begin to understand why fandom has failed to integrate Dewees into fanon. I suspect he reads a little like Bert without the angsty Gerard backstory - dirty, both hilarious and lewd, a bit of a personal disaster, and very much part of an older hardcore scene to which we have no clear access through our bandom cast of characters. The thing that I find baffling, though, is that he's Frankie's old friend, and it's a wide open door that I can't believe we haven't walked through. It's instant access to the building blocks of a Dewees character backstory. Why doesn't he show up more often in more stories? I can't decide if that fascinates me more than Dewees himself.

2. Crumb cake - Specifically the crumb topping. See also: cold-brewed iced coffee.

3. Gerard Way's Victorian Vampire Detective Agency. You can bet Dewees is going to make an appearance. Maybe as a zombie-for-hire, because, you know, Frank is Gerard's valet and he just wants to help an old friend out! (Jesus Christ, like I don't have enough things to write. Victorian. Vampire. Detective. Agency.)

4. How I've managed to do anything at all today. I am so completely exhausted. Going to bed early, sleeping late. Maybe never leaving bed. Can research Victorian literature from there.

5. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

coffee on demand, i'm here to be told, whatever remains however improbable
