If feet are a metaphor, I want to know what rockstar feet mean

I dreamed last night that I got a second job as a touring band photographer, but because I was new, I was only allowed to take pictures of the techs setting up. But then, finally, I got this one really great picture of the lead guitarist's feet during sound check, and it meant I'd passed some sort of test and I was going to be allowed to graduate to live concert photography.

I don't know what to say about The Doctor's Daughter other than that it had a number of plot holes and was also so close to the premise of the Genesis Arc in Wrath of Khan/Search for Spock that I was certain Jenny was going to be resurrected as a part of the planet's terraforming.

I am trying not to get overwhelmed by the Dublin Core research I have to do - where "research" here means "relearning how to use." I also need to brush up on my taxonomy skills, because when I first started searching for a historical images/documents taxonomy, the first thing I found was a thesaurus for Asian vegetables. Which, while interesting, doesn't really help with my subject headings.

It's Friday, and I want to be sitting at my sewing table and watching Stargate while I repurposed an old pair of pants into what might turn out to be a purse. And then, after I watched Sam save the world several times, I would probably make lemonade, guacamole and an angel food cake. Maybe even a Tollhouse pie. Maybe, though, I should work on my feet portraits, or else I'll never get a live photo shoot!

you can stay at my place, i'm here to be told, things they don't teach you
