That was TOTALLY worth them not having a scene together for weeks. Though you have to wonder what other words went through Lex's mind in that pause before he settled on "blood brother."
1. Josh is in love with Matt.
2. I want CJ to be my girlfriend.
2a. Baring that, I want CJ to be Toby's girlfriend.
2b. Baring THAT, I want CJ to magically take the office of President of the United States, much as she made the leap from Press Secretary to Chief of Staff.
