Are you the good guy or the bad guy?

I spent yesterday working through the plot problems of Josh/Matt and Remus/Bran and drinking lots of coffee, because, between the two stories, there were lots of problems. But now I have a list of scenes to write (and re-write), although, as is usually the case, these are the scenes I've been putting off working on the whole time.

I finished God Loves, Man Kills, which was as heartbreaking as I'd expected it to be. The one Xavier/Magneto scene was tremendously painful even though I knew exactly how it would end. There were a lot of other parts of it that I wanted to talk about, but right now, I'm still stuck on that panel of the almost-hand-clasp. Those two break my heart.

Finally, I watched the Sara Backstory episode of CSI. I loved Grissom in Sara's apartment - it seems like they might actually be trying to develop a friendship. But, oh, Grissom grabbing her hand? Still got me.

I started reading Possession by A.S. Byatt, which I feel like I've been meaning to read for years. Val, the girlfriend of the underachieving scholar, says, "You have this thing about this dead guy." And that pretty much sums up literary scholarship.

Now, I'm going to try and catch up on all that went on in hp_dungeons over the weekend. And it seems like a lot has happened.

fiction on paper, since when are you interested in beauty?, god loves man kills
