Okay, like I told people...

Yesterday was a big day in Rochester.

First, I went to the brace maker. Not sure yet if walking brace has been properly worked on. It's improved, but by the time I got home, I'd been wearing the thing for 13 hours which is five hours more than you're supposed to be wearing it anyway. Anyway, it will take several wears to know whether it works, as I get used to everything.

On the rest of the the day...
They think I am having something weird going on, More drugs for one thing, stopped for another. It's apparently like minor seizures, but because I have so much warning, it isn't going to affect much. I mean, I will be taking medicine to hope that it doesn't happen at all, but they also say I can always stop whatever I'm doing because I have close to an hour of warning that one is coming on. Yay. Beyond that, it took from 1:00 to 4:30 to have my Avastin treatment. For something that was supposed to take 45 minutes. Wow.

Anyway, The where we are is probably some bad stuff, but nothing too terrible, they say. Dr. thinks this new drug he set me up for will fix some things. I'm also on the proper daily anti-cancer drug, instead of the mistaken five a day each month. The difference is that the five a day version really screws up your ability to digest your food properly. I do not need this. As of yesterday, I weigh 122. Sounds good, no? Well, 11 months ago, I weighed 180ish. Which was too much, to be certain. But to lose that much in that little, Well, at the 125 hit, It was 8 months, and they wanted it to stop there. Hasn't yet. They are now actively telling me to try to stop losing, which I have started to try...I am not sure what they will do to me when I hit below 120. But it may come. Anyway, that's a big reason Dr. does not want to have the five day version of the drug. Nothing that will mess up my eating, he says.

Who has more fun than me?

treatment, cancer, food, walking, medical, doctors
