Pain in the neck

I've been to the doctor and had this procedure and now I am very dizzy from the partial sedation which was apparently necessary because as the doctor put it, they were trying to get a big needle into a small space on both sides of my neck.  I have to say, I was awake the whole time, but totally unaware of them jabbing any needles into my spinal column.   I mean, seriously, I was astounded when they told me it was all done, because I thought they were still setting up.    Of course, my brain was going, "light overhead says "laser aperture.  Maybe I shouldn't be staring at it."

Now we'll see.  He wasn't 100% sure I'd be up to going to work tomorrow.  He also said things will probably hurt later, when the anesthetic wears off.  Yes, partial sedation to keep my muscles from clenching, local anesthesia to deal with big needles in neck, and then we still don't know if it worked for another four weeks.   If it hasn't worked in four weeks, he said it can be tried one more time.  Then we have to come up with another answer...

pain, neurofibromatosis, falling down, doctors
