"Amazing Progress!"
To the point where the gap is completely gone. Now have a "permanent retainer" (a wire cemented to the back of my two front teeth to hold them together.) Still have the grill, still have the rubber bands. Still looking at another 12-18 months. But the man still called it "amazing."
No more chains, anyway. Just bright-colored ring-things.
Someone at work commented that I was "lucky to have such a nice smile."
