(no subject)
I think i jumped the gun a little when I said that we had found tenants for our rental house. Turns out they decided on another place. Oh well. The property manager guy has shown it to two other parties within the last two days, so that is promising.
I found out last nigth that my cousin Zach just got engaged. They are in Hawaii on vacation and he proposed while they were walking on the beach. Very romantic. And, he had his late grandmothers diamond re-set, so I thought that was pretty cool, too. He's 26 and his fiance is an older woman (I think she's 32, so a little older than me!). I havn't met her yet, but my sister has and really likes her. Weddings in my family are so much fun. Usually all the cousins come, and we make a long weekend out of it. We're all pretty close, and try to get together at least once a year. And there's alot of us, at least 20, I think (my dad is one of 9).
I am going to Vegas on Tuesday for the day. I found out last night that my grandparents, aunt Gail and her husband, Aunt Nancy, Uncle Kelly, cousins Courtney, Evan, Willow, John, John Carter and Sarah will all be there to celebrate my Uncle Kelly's 50th b-day. And, the aforementioned Zach and his new fiance will be there for a couple of hours on a layover. So I am flying in the morning and coming home that same night. Have to call in sick to work. I'm gonna drop Eli off at daycare and Eric will pick him up at 4:00PM. I was going to take him, but decided that it's too much to cram into one day for the little guy, plus Eric did not like the idea at all. Very excited to see everyone.
