That. Was. Awesome.
Ok, that was the best time I've had in ages. It's been at least a few months since I've had so much fun. I got a Mario coin plushy! And I got an aching shoulder for about 15 mins (I'm looking at you, Dagger). I did my masquerade appearance, though I was SO terrified. I had no idea what poses to do until literally when there were about 5 contestants left before me, when I decided to do one pose with my hands on my hips, one with my sword half-drawn, and one pointing it at the audience. Still, I anticipated that nobody would know who I was.
So imagine my surprise when I got the biggest cheer I've ever heard. I did the poses, pointing my sword at the judges, and staggering about, bracing myself against the soundwaves of the cheers. Then, some guy in the audience yelled "You fight like a Dairy Farmer!", so of course I had no option but to respond with "How appropriate, you fight like a cow!" to him, whilst jabbing the sword in his general direction. I wobbled off the stage, still stunned by the reception I got from the audience.
I didn't win, but I didn't really care tbh, I just loved the experience. I can't wait for the next expo.
