(no subject)
Wednesday. I went to see Spidey 3 with Julie. That. Film. Is. Awesome. What wasn't awesome is that Martin decided that he wanted to intrude in any way possible, so he gave Julie a lift home despite the fact that my mum was taking me to her place anyway to pick up my school bags and stuff. Wish he'd grow up and let her see other people without him being involved.
Thursday. Went into Reading to look at costumes for the last day. I took a look through the Star Wars costumes in the rental section of the store. Pretty much all of them were...uhm...battle-damaged? I've never seen Jango Fett without a jetpack (well, in one video game, but he had a reason for not having it then) nor have I ever seen a Stormtrooper with the white bits of the armour hanging off. The Darth Vader costumes were adequate, but a little tacky-looking due to the rubber bits (get your mind out of the gutter, I meant the control pad on his chest). My mum says she's going to make me a Vader costume now, which tbh I think will turn out better than the store one. Ah, if only I had enough money for the £799 suit on the interweb...
Friday. Today. Chasing pidgeons through a warehouse. Yes, you read that right. Well, ONE pidgeon. Work seemed to fly by, but the pidgeon didn't. It decided it wasn't going to go out in the rain, but flap around the warehouse for ages. I was chucking a scrunched up A3-sized piece of cardboard into the rafters to try and make it fly out, but it always turned round and flew further in. I got paid today, too. Yay for first paycheck! Ah, my 2 weeks' pay...wait a second *counts the days* I've worked one week. *keeps quiet*.
Saturday. I notice the journal I tried to post yesterday didn't update for some reason, but saved to my drafts.
I can't think of a good way to round off this journal entry with a closing paragraph, so I'm going to have a closing paragraph that rambles about me not being able to write a better one.
