My latest thing is investigating medical schools in Canada, which are far, far away, relatively inexpensive, high quality, and, well, Canadian. And then I could start the whole expatriation process. You know what? I'm sick of all my crazy ideas. They get me all excited for about 10 minutes and then they fall through. But for now, here are the three schools to which I plan to apply:
-WVU School of Medicine (duh)
-University of Toronto School of Medicine
...and if I get EXCELLENT MCAT scores...
-Mt. Sinai School of Medicine
(and one idea that I'm kind of a little playing with: University of Maryland)
It's kinda depressing going through the whole damned testing and application process again, but eh, it's exciting too.
The time table for the med school application is strange. The MCATs are held in April (or June, I think) and August. Meaning I will have ONE shot that will be actually feasible...August 2006. Then all the applications are due in October and November. So before this time next year, I need to be a lean, mean, organic chemistry machine.
Here's to a crackilackin spring semester...
