Speaking of Dells...I heard (or I think I heard) the other day that the kid from the Dell commercials is now doing Broadway. WTF? I'm sorry, but a catchphrase does not an actor make.
Meanwhile, I'm in E. Moore Hall in the study lounge on Tristan's recommendation using the wireless laptops. It's way cool, but this is NOT the commuter's lounge like Tristan was led to believe. The commuter's lounge is next door. But I can't imagine it's any better than fluffy chairs, a big skylight, and a wide-screen wireless high-speed connection. Unless if they have like, a nap room, where there are a bunch of cots in a big room. Here's my idea: the Nap Shack. It's for people who are stuck here all day long...there would be a safe with a lock under your bed so you could put your bookbag in it, and the desk would keep the keys while you slept. There would be just one big room where people could sleep by the hour and get a personalized wake-up call. It would be 50 cents for every fifteen minutes, so 2 bucks an hour, and for that price you'd get a standard bed with a pillow and blanket and your very own clean sheets and pillowcase to use. There would be vending machines with things like earplugs and eyemasks. It would be very comfy and friendly. I think this is a frigging great idea. In fact, I think I may enter the business contest for the Economics building with it. The more I type about it, the more I'm getting excited.
Oh, and also, I put the beatdown on chemistry. It is my puppet, and I am the puppet master.
