Mirror Mirror highlights
Had a fun time at MM, despite the constant heat and humidity. You know it's pretty bad when the crackers they are putting out for snacks keep turning into mush before people can eat them...
And when it wasn't just plain muggy, it was pouring BUCKETS of rain. Luckily the second time it happened was during the last fight so it didn't matter so much that we got soaked (Except for my poor books. :( So sad.), but MAN, that was a lot of rain. I can't think of the last time I was that wet while larping. I can't think of the last time I was that wet outside of jumping into a body of water to go swimming.
- meeting new PCs, as usual :)
- meeting Erin (giggles)
- desperately scrambling around on the dirt trying to find Kumir's body that everyone insisted was right where I was (he wasn't) wondering to myself how pissed off Kumir was going to be if he died because I couldn't find him in the dark.
- Wyvernly totally throwing me under the bus (twice). Also, finally (after many failed attempts) getting to put a token in the grove. Also, just chatting with her at various points during the event.
- Kumir does not fail at Compassion!
- having an awesome group for the death mod. Wow that was rough.
- watching Yaisha (and then Rissiyah, and then Grimwald) mess with Thousand Roads. Poor Thousand Roads.
- attempting to explain transforms in an IG way that doesn't make every character from NERO look entirely insane.
- going to talk to Ramses/Khaval
- coming back from something to hear about how shadow Thousand Roads was stalking the town.
- the various reactions within the mod group when the hook mentioned 'phase spiders'
- hearing about how we left Sabithius behind...
- I don't really wish I'd done this, but I do wish I'd been able to see the look on Rob's face if I went, "Um... shadow Omi is taking off for the hills, I'm here to NPC the next fight."
