Do we need more reality tv? Isn't Sick Sad World enough?

Don't you want to see people with two digit IQs fuck on television and say it's for true love?

Plus, I need to get paid.

No. Never. I think if I wanted to see idiots, I'd just look at my sister.

5 million people each week can't be wrong.

That's probably what it's going to say on my gravestone.

I have no idea what a producer is or what this reality show is. But that sounds like a position of power. Are you the ruler of this reality show?

I'm more like a prisoner of war.

Oh. Well, you seem remarkably well and happy for a prisoner of war. Not even the elves treat their prisoners that well. You should consider yourself lucky.

Feeding prisoners is good. Most of the time it is better for prisoners to live until you don't want them to anymore, and starving them isn't as much fun as other things.

Yeah, well, we're legally obligated to keep everyone fed and on their meds and things like that. The last thing we want is a lawsuit. Or worse, bad PR.

Yes, a bad reputation can make it so difficult to get things done. Although, sometimes it can create a healthy level of fear.

We're trying to sell love, so you'll buy the advertiser's products that will make people love you. Fear doesn't really go well with that, unfortunately.

Not that that stops my bosses.

There are lots of ways to sell things. I usually find that a healthy mix of both works best. Make them want to do what you want and also make them afraid not to. Have you thought about making them afraid of what would happen if they don't buy that product?

Oh wow. I can't decide if that would be a fun job or not.

Depends. Do you like ruining people and making them virtually incapable of trustworthy human interaction again while feeling pieces of your soul being ripped out of your body?

Because then, yeah, it's fun.
