Today was the second stay at home day. Yesterday we cancelled Xmas and today just some errand running. I tried the roads yesterday and decided I didn't want to drive them after dark. The ruts in the side streets made driving interesting. Today whenever I went out, until quite late in the day, somebody was stuck on our street, including a UPS truck. We had a friend who was going to come over and take my wife on her errands, but who couldn't get out of her parking lot. Another friend abandoned her car 3 blocks from her house, and our roomie, hasn't seen her car in a week cause, initially her doors were frozen shut, and since then the roads haven't been conducive for the return, let alone getting the car up our driveway.
So my car has this nifty idiot light to tell you that you are skidding.
Whoever though that you needed a little light to go on and distract you while you are struggling to control your car probably deserves some sort of designers award, but I wouldn't call it a feature.
Lastly my fannish friends should read today's
xkcd especially the mouse-over commentary. BTW, I checked some of the search terms and I'm sorry to say that xkcd lies.
