Helping the needy or working the system?
Things like these really get me in a dark mood.
Interesting story - last night I went shopping late at night, 11:30 pm to be more exact. There is a couple on wellfare coupons with a baby in front of me, haggling what they can afford and not afford to buy, etc...They are holding the only cashier in the store so naturally it starts to perk up my interest.
First they get rid of the milk, then the diapers so they can get the chips and the soda, at the end they pay it all with their wellfare card.
So this seems a little strange as the baby's priorities (diapers and milk) are left out, yet the crap food gets purchased. Still I am think - they must drive quite a jalopy because they are on wellfare and times are tough. I walk outside and as I do so I see the couple and the diaperless baby drive away in a BRAND NEW WV BUG CONVERTIBLE!!!!
