  Usually, the term applies to wild horses which have been tamed.

Here's another take [adapted from an email to Math's mom, my XSO Linda]:

I'm home on blood thinners.

A pulmonary embolism is a blood clot to the lungs.

A saddle embolism has two heads; id est, looks like a saddle.

Seconded.

All I could think of was how if I didn't get better it would spoil my family and friends' Christmas.

That's the reason for the interdiction on long-distance driving that prevents a trip to Easton in January.

All in all, this Solstice ~marked a graced birth observance, Michael.

No, I was late and fair's fair. You're right, I don't need the stress.

The only civil suit I every strongly pursued was over my parentally kidnapped son and daughter where the courts did everything possible to prevent the execution of justice in both cases because I had the wrong combination of chromosomes.

What's wrong with Quilly? I only learned the Balloonatic Bomber's LJ the other day. I'll check that.

You keep well. I know you've had major financial problems with all the translocations and job changes these last few years, Sarah.

Michael, how could I do less than emulate the example of the fellow who suffered a coronary infarct on an airplane from O'Hare and, upon landing in Lehigh, calmly gathered his luggage before surrendering himself to the ruthless care of his beautiful bride.
