In case you don't know 26 years ago in Japan was transmitted the first episode of 'Seijushi Bismark' by Studio Pierrot (7/10/1984). The series was later bought by WEP, turned into 'Saber Rider and The Star Sheriffs' and retransmitted (14/09/1987). Then it finally came into my country where I happened to see the third episode (29/09/1989) and well, it was love at first glance (Yes, I completely blame it to the fact the episode has Jesse Blue. I totally couldn't resist to the guy.).
Anyway, from that moment on, I began worshipping this series. Back then it was impossible to find material or info about it but later, when Japanese animation and manga became popular in Italy (1992) and I began to use internet (1998) I had the chance to find something about it and since obsessions passions are meant to be shared I also ended up making a web with all the info I could find and with the many fanworks I created (fanfics, fanarts, fanmanga, AMV, screensavers...).
One of the things I searched the most were the cd of the series.
Well, it turned out I wasn't the only one in searching them but... Seijushi Bismark BGM were never printed on cd, only on records, and records by then were impossible to find.
Then I got a message from a kind soul who happened to wander on my web and that was so kind to be willing to send me a cd with a copy of the Seijushi Bismark BGM which he got from his records (yes, this person was one of the few lucky soul who own both Seijushi Bismark records).
Back then I swore to myself that I would have found a way to share it with other people obsessed like me fans but... I had no idea how.
The whole record had been all put into a single track and I didn't know how to split it into the original tracks, not mentioning I didn't know how to convert a cd into mp3 or how to post it in the net (back then I didn't know of the existence of file sharing webs like mediafire). So I stuffed the whole 'share this' into my list of 'to do' things and... well let it there.
Time went on and even if I kept on loving SB/SRaTSS I moved to other fandoms.
Then, not many days ago I found out that the program I use to make video can also split mp3 tracks.
By now getting a program that extracts files from cd is much easier and file sharing webs became my friends so... FINALLY I can erase from my 'to do' list the 'Share Seijushi Bismark BGM' point.
Here you can find the zip version of the 2 BGM and of the OP/ED record with all the info I have on them.
Sorry but:
- the audio isn't perfect. The music was ripped by a record and I have no idea how to 'clean the sound'.
- the only pics I added to the cd are the covers, I didn't include back covers and posters. Maybe when I'll get decent scans of them I'll do.
- title tracks translations and translitterations weren't done by me but by a kind soul (first BGM) and by translator enjines (second BGM). I hope they're right.
- lyrics translations for 'Fushigi Call Me' were found by me time ago (*sighs* I've lost the credits of who did them but definitely it wasn't me) while for 'Yume Ginga' were made by me using translators enjines so I can't assure you they are perfect.
In short the quality isn't great but that's the best I could do. You can share them with other fans if you want, provided you share them as they are and, if you ever get the chance to buy the original records or if they're printed on cd, I ask you to support Bismark and buy them. This series really need more love.
About the music... yes, I know that's not the best BGM collection ever but, in case you don't know, it's dated 1984/85. It's kind of old and, for the time, it was nice enough.
Anyway for the zips:
Seijushi Bismark - BGM Collection Vol. 1Seijushi Bismark - BGM Collection Vol. 2Seijushi Bismark - Fushigi Call Me-Yume Ginga If you happen to be interested in the zips and download them I'll be happy if you'll let me know. Also, I'll be delighted to know if you enjoyed the music. And if you can turn the track into better versions or you can provide decent pics of the record back covers and posters I'll probably love you forever.
Said that again HAPPY BIRTHDAY SEIJUSHI BISMARK!

I'm not going to post rar files so please don't ask for them.
