Should I stay or should I go now . . .

Bonjour, folks.

Everything has been good.

I'm very undecisive about what's going on in the next couple of weeks. Yes, I'm out of school on May 9 (May 12 for everyone else. May 9 is my last class. It's nice.) Then I have Manifest to attend on the 11 (it's a festival that is put on by Columbia to showcase the graduating seniors and the current graduate students works . . . Probably Vampires may be performing. And Common is definitely performing, since he went to Columbia for a while.) Immediately after, Looptopia is going on. This is a first annual thing . . . it's an all night art festival in the Loop (oh, how convenient!) and the Ponys and Mucca Pazza are performing, so I'm definitely going to be hitting those up. Then, on the 13, I have to move out. This means no sleep for Jade that weekend. Which I'm all right with.

I won't be home on the 13. I'm staying with my friend Lindsey until the 15, then I'm supposed to take a train home to PH that will be coming in at 11PM. Supposedly. I have the ticket and everything. And I do want to come home to see some people . . . but my friend Libby decided that she now wants to live out here this summer instead of coming in to stay with our friend Crystal in August. So now we're both looking into apartments so we can move into them as soon as we're out of school.

Though I really do want to be home for Madison's birthday. Originally, I was going to stay until May 30 or so. I don't know now. Chicago sounds awfully nice in the Summer time. So does Lexington. Decisions . . .

Anyhow, to distract myself from that and other quandries, I went to see Ted Leo & the Pharmacists last night at the Metro. He's amazing. I went with my friend Libby becuase she LOVES him, and I can see why. Too good. Love of Diagrams, the opening band, were pretty good, too. They're from Australia.

It's Albert Hammond, Jr. . . . in bassist form. If you don't know who that is, I may never be able to talk to you again.

Mmmm . . . Sooooo gooooood.

All in all, the next two weeks are going to be insane.

Later, people.

Oh, P.S.
Mason, listen to Coconut Records. It's an artist, not a label or anything. Talk to me when you figure out who it is. Hehe . . . it's wonderful.
