This reminds me of when my previous supervisor, on learning that I was leaving to do my PhD, told me that the PhD process shouldn't be viewed as the be-all and end-all of my career. He said previously it had been like that - you get your PhD, you get tenure, and you're set for life. Now it's really just another strange little journey that sets you up for a more complicated life and more severe disappointments. But can potentially also be exceedingly rewarding. ;)

Yupyup....well its something that I've wanted for a long time. A good MBA...not necessarily a HBS MBA - in fact I disagree with some of their policies...
