OMGss - Watch this article! Rachel Maddow isn't blowing this out of proportion. What she is describing is effectively how the NAZI's stole power in Germany. Except this isn't Berlin, or Lepzig, or Bremen; this is Ann Arbor, and Lansing and Detroit. They claim a crisis and then take away your powers as citiizens for the greater power of the leader.
