Dragon*Con Stuff
I made reservations at the Marriot today! So I guess I'm really going! I wasn't sure about staying in the Marriot, but ppl told me it was the best and I really want to stay right at the convention. I think I might run into a couple of situations where I need to change costumes fast for photoshoots so it will be nice to be right there. The only thing that sucks is the parking. :(
But that aside, I am soooo excited about going. I think I'm changing my costume list for D*Con too. I'm still praying the get the picnic gown finished so I can wear it to the RL photoshoot and the SW costume contest, but I also am going to try to make Elizabeth's Plum gown. My sister and I also want to do the Disney photoshoot so I'm going to be making Belle's blue dress and she's going to do Jessie the cowgirl! Which is funny cause my sister's name is Jessica.
Jessica also wants to make a Pride and Prejuice dress. She isn't so much for the accuracy as I am. She just wants something that looks like the time period, so she got a pattern for the dress. I offered to help her make an accurate dress but she's like, 'I have the pattern' so I was like okay.
I think Jess also wants to make a WW2 outfit to wear in the parade. I'm also going to make her a HP robe. I bought fabric like what was just on mine a while ago and I told her she could have it. At least out fabric will match so when we take pics together we will look like we're in the same uniform.
