Dragon*Con 2008
It killed me that I couldn't go this year! Ask my mom, I would look at her and say: "you know what I would be doing right now?" Well, next year, that isn't happening. I am coming! My sister and I are going to come to Atlanta. This will be her first convention. Anyway, I thought it would be better to put down what I need to do before Dragon*Con, instead of ALL the costumes. I know there are four convention days, so that is four different costumes. As of now I have enough costumes for the Con but I want to make new ones.
Here is what I want to wear:
HERMIONE'S UNIFORM- I am very proud of my Hermione costume. I think it looks very accurate, although
kay_dee70has inspired me to possibly make a new robe with more accurate fabric. This won't be happening though until later. For now my robes will do spledidly. The only thing I'd like to get is a cardigan from Hobbie's House. I'm working to save up my money in order to get it. I'm planning on wearing this to the Yule Ball.
PICNIC GOWN- The Big costume. I plan to wear this for the SW costume contest and the Rebel Legion photoshoot. I really hope I finish in time!
POTC PLUM- I probably won't be able to make this one because I won't have the money, but I've asked for the fabric for Chirstmas so I might be able to get it done! My goal is to get it finished for Spring Break, I hope to go to Jamestown and take pics with it on their ships.
IMPERIAL QUIDDITCH TEAM- The CO of my garrison knows a girl who had an idea of doing the Imperial Quidditch Team. I absolutely love this idea! I think we're going to do it to, we just need to find some more ppl, more guys to do it. So far I think we have 3. Cher is going to be a seeker, and I want to be a beater. We're going to do the quidditch robes black on the outside and white or gray on the inside. Then for the patch we'd have the imperial logo, then black sweaters with a white stripe. Then instead of shin guards and arm guards we'd have pieces of Storm trooper armor. How cute is that?! I'll update more on this costume when I get more information but I really hope we get to do it.
