I went out on Saturday. Alone. To the mecca of American indulgence: the mall.
Once there, I found one new shirt for work at Kohl's (60% off), not to mention a new pair of pants for work (70% off), two new polo shirts for weekends and looking nice ($10 each) and a very tasteful, blue Hawaiian shirt (50% off).
Venturing into the mall proper, the sunglass store I frequent had... Let me back up. I have a pair of old sunglasses, wraparound style. They were $20 when I got them years ago and continue to function even though every other pair I get break within three days. So, through the store window, I see a pair of sunglasses identical to what I already have. Color me excited. Another purchase.
At the Van Heusen store, I found three more shirts for work (2 for $9.99 each, 1 for $12.xx). And then, when I got home, I ended up ordering a new messenger bag from
Rickshaw Bagworks thanks to
leolz . The one I currently have if falling apart with broken straps and seams coming undone. It's about time, I think, since my current Cliffhanger bag is over 10 years old now and goes EVERYWHERE with me.
Even exchanged the "new" FM transmitter I had gotten last week for a completely new one. The other one was wireless and didn't work as well as I wanted. The new one comes with a wire, enabling charging in the car and works much MUCH better.
