After starting Queer as Folk Season 2 many many moons ago, we finally finished it last night. Well, Jim finished it because I've already seen it.

Definately a let down of a season for more than one reason.

- George the Pickle Man does not work. I like the actor (Bruce Gray) and the idea, but the innuendo about him being gay and the pickle man got real old real fast. Entirely boring, although his death scene was unintentionally hilarious.

- Can I tell you how much I love Ethan? A much better fit for Justin than Brian, Ethan is romantic, gorgeous and extremely talented. And he tells Justin he loves him all the time. Something Brian didn't do. I know Ethan makes his exit in Season 3 and that's just too bad. Brian is...ugh.

- Can I tell you how much I love Ben? *snicker* Masculine, absolutely gorgeous in totally other ways from Ethan, loving, caring, emotional, romantic...just like Ethan fits Justin, Ben fits Michael. The episode that ends with Michael looking in Ben's medicine cabinet, fade to black and we just hear him leaving the apartment is one of the best endings for the show ever.

There aren't a whole lot of other positives in the season. The wedding is a walking cliche; I despised Michael's father as well as Debbie's reaction to Ben; Carl Horvath isn't worthy of Debbie; Justin continues to get the short end of the stick with Brian; the girls get nothing, really, to do; and Jerk at Work dot net is just...BORING.

Short, 13 episode seasons work for this show the best, not the laborious 20 episode things we got for S1 and S2.
