Friday, at last!
It's finally Friday, after a grueling week at work (yay catchup after being gone 9 days!). Today's nice and relaxed, just calling some folks for interviews, cleaning my desk, and catching up on various bills and paperwork that have come due. Tonight I'm taking Nakoa out to dinner at the Matador for a belated birthday celebration -- and, hopefully, a mojito. I could not get a damned mojito anywhere in LA or Vegas, and last night, when I went to my favorite Mexican place on the Hill, they were out of mint!! Grrrrg. Rage!! I demand minty-limey-rummy goodness!
I would also like to take this time to extend my empathy to everyone who suffers seasonal allergies. I had never been so afflicted in my life, until this spring, when suddenly my respiratory system rebelled and I've been suffering (thankfully fairly mild) symptoms. I really, really hope that this is a temporary development brought on by travel and stress, and that I won't have to spend all spring moderately congested and sneezing. :-P No fun!
I saved my comp days from LA/Vegas for this weekend, so I have four days to goof off instead of two! Expect an Infernal, and possibly a few levels closer to 58 for my Warlock! Until then, pleasant somethings!
