Countdown to show season!
I leave in 5 days for the first show of the year, New York Comic Con! I'm really looking forward to it, as I've never been to New York. My aunt Kristin lives there with her husband, and my best friend/high school sweetheart Steve lives nearby as well, so I'm hoping to get to see them while I'm in the chilly Northeast.
I'm also looking forward in general to show season, although it's going to be a pretty damn busy one. I've been getting a little cabin fever lately! It will be refreshing to get away from home base for a bit, and see my friends in other parts again as well! Of course, I'll miss my home and friends here, too...but variety is the spice of life, after all.
I'm back to working me some crazy hours...almost 13 hours yesterday, looking like 12 today. Good thing I've got a three day weekend to decompress a little! The plan for tonight is mojitos and nachos at the Matador with Drew, Matt, and (later) Dave. Tomorrow is hiking, and Sunday I'll give Christopher's D&D group another chance. Lots of fun ahead of me!
But for now, back to work. Pleasant somethings!
