MLK Quote

Heard an awesome quote by MLK (aren't all his quotes awesome?) about how we're not only combatting "the children of darkness" but we are working to free the "the children of light" who are afraid to take action. Of course that hardly says it as well. I will have to google for it. We heard it in watching "Driving Miss Daisy" yesterday morning on la cable. (That's French for Cable TV.)

Well here is one version I found online, but also isn't as poignant:

"The greatest misfortune of our age is not the presence of evil in the world. It is, instead, the apathetic silence of the children of light." - Martin Luther King, Jr.

Ah, "
schwing" I found it:

"History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the vitriolic words and the violent actions of the bad people, but the appalling silence and indifference of the good people. Our generation will have to repent not only for the words and acts of the children of darkness, but also for the fears and apathy of the children of light."

future, light, life, mlk
