The last track on the CD had finished playing. Minato was occupied with putting it away in its box and searching for another CD to listen to.]

Edogawa-kun. [It was always nice to hear from him. Minato realized then that the network was picking up on whatever he was doing in the library.]

[Yousuke takes the time to listen through all of those songs, wondering if anything interesting will pop up. The second song that played he likes a bit, it sounds like something that would be played at a rave. The rest...]

Minato... Dude, you're my bro but that music? You've got the taste of an old man.

[Minato smiled, thinking that was true. Bunkichi-jiisan would probably like some of the selections. This music wasn't Minato's usual genre. And if anyone here knew what genre of music Minato liked best, it was Yousuke.]

I'm experimenting.

[He did switch out the CD on the player, browsed for a second, then put in another CD with this song (with the volume lowered since, well, he was in the library) playing instead.]

See, that's more like it. [Yousuke can sit and listen through this whole song without fidgeting.] Kinda hardcore for my tastes but still. Better.

[Minato pressed Stop on the player. He nodded, agreeing with Yousuke assessment. He would get the songs from off that CD later.]

The library has a lot to choose from. [It did make him wonder if Wonderland brought in its materials from all worlds or only the residents' worlds.]

[When Minato heard the familiar voice, he turned off the current song playing and addressed his friend properly.]

I'm fine. Good now that the event is done. You?

Mn, the same. It hasn't been too bad.

[Better than turning into vampires or playing some elaborate chess game, among other things.]

[It almost bothers her that music coming from nowhere no longer bothers her how it used to. But those were also from days before Wonderland. Thankfully, she is able to track the source down to the comm device.]

[An unfamiliar voice. Minato lowered the volume of the next song that came on so he could be heard as he spoke to her.]

[He had just been browsing to see what the library held and came across that CD.]

[She laughs softly.] Mm, I'm sure I'll never be able to do such a thing ever again... Oh, my name is Kurosawa Rei. It's nice to meet you, Music-san.

[She felt a little better that Minato sounded kind. It wasn't often she had the courage to talk to someone unfamiliar, even if some part of her had been hoping it would magically be someone she knew.]

It's nice to meet you too, Kurosawa-san. [Minato smiled at the way she addressed him, and that smile could be heard in his voice. He hadn't minded at all.] Mn, I'm Arisato Minato.

Have you been here in Wonderland long?

[By the way, I love you so much, I need to tag your Rei some time again. I don't know her canon, but I like what I've seen of her around eway. ^-^]
