[ Japan was strolling along the gardens, checking out some empty space when he comes across Minato. Although a bit surprised, he smiles at the child sleeping on the bench and covers Minato with his kimono haori (outer wear) lightly and quietly to not wake him up. ]
[Minato continued to sleep as the weather was perfect for it. It was peaceful, as opposed to the past event that had ended a few days ago. The haori only helped to make it that much safer to be outside.
But perhaps there was something about Japan, maybe the grandeur or his presence, the way he carried himself as a nation, that caused Minato to awaken. He peeked an eye open to see who it was that was there with him.]
[Minato gently shook his head. He carefully sat up, not wanting to disturb the haori on him too much. He couldn't be lying around with someone he respected this much there with him.]
No need to apologize, Japan-san. I should be awake now.
[ if Japan knew what Minato was thinking he would tell that wouldn't be necessary. I mean, America's barged into his house many times, breaking his doors. It's totally fine Minato, it takes a lot to irritate Japan ]
Having a um, siesta [ laughs a little at that term he uses ] is completely understandable on such a nice day like this.
[But that's America! As a citizen of a Japan somewhere in one of the multitude of universes out there, he had to show deference to the country. He shifted over on the bench in case Japan wanted to sit.
Minato smiled, glad that Japan understood.]
It is. It's not often the Mansion is this peaceful.
... Thank you too. [He gently held onto the haori. It was nice also to be reminded of home in some way. Japan seemed to have that effect on him.]
[Everyone should respect their country! And who wouldn't respect Ojiisan?]
On occasion after events there's more of a reaction. The last event seemed to be okay for everyone. [For the most part. Having altered memories was already somewhat strange.]
I wanted to. Did you have other plans today? [He hoped that he wasn't keeping Japan from doing something else.]
[Aw, Minato thought it was a nice name. He wrote down what he thought was the correct kanji in his notebook, and showed it to him: 本田菊 and wrote 日本国 next to it. How fitting, a shared character.
Minato looked down at the haori though and was surprised at the offer.]
I... Thank you, but it's yours. You should keep it... [He wasn't sure if it would be proper to keep something that belonged to a country.]

There has been times of tranquil here. They are usually after a big event or before one. I suppose even the Mansion can get tired.
You do not have to thank me.

Yes it did. It was interesting to be called by name as well.
No, I was just taking a walk and looking at the gardens.

Mn, you were the art teacher, right? [It must have been interesting indeed to be called by name.] ... I didn't know you had any other name before.
Oh... did you need this back? [He still had Japan's haori in hand.]

Ah, my human name. All countries have one. Mine is Honda Kiku. [ such a girly name lolol ]
You may keep it if you want it, but I doubt you would find a chance to use it...

Ah...all right then. [ he takes the haori from Minato and wears it once more ] Have you worn a kimono before, Arisato-san?
