A week in Italy has provided me with no answers. I still do not know what it is I will do with the rest of my life. If I had my say, I would eat great food and lay in shady spots in beautiful places reading books and watching people everyday, learnign as many languages as possible. But the fact of the matter is, I need to choose a career soon. The pressure is building....house prices are rising (seriously they are, $600,000 will soon be the price of the average British house!)
Current attractive options:
Paramedic
Counsellor
Teacher
Wow. I thought there were going to beat least 10 on that list. Civil service and banking jobs had interested me for a few days but the commute, long hours and stress really put me off. The money is attractive though, starting at $60,000 would be a dream. And it would also be a dream if an IB really did hire a film school grad.
I feel that I cannot make a decision till I've tried all options. I'm still considering emigrating. How am I going to find my calling in life? My niche? Especially if keep changing my mind?
