some nights are so good i can't put them into words. after a week of work in the big city, meeting with two very good friends on a wide open field on the edge of town and drinking beer and breaking it up with football even when it gets so dark you can only see the ball flying towards your feet or face when it's less than two feet awya. listenin gto great music and i mean great music. music that brings back memories puts you into the most ecstatic or relaxed or just..happiest frame of mind. looking at the sky lying down smoking half a pack of cigarettes. reminiscing, prophesising, dreaming. (spelling?). and then leaving the field at dark, after the sunset when he saw a shooting star and made a useless wish and realising that ow, right now nobody could have seen you there sitting in a circle next to bicycles and beer cans, not at all illuminated by mobile phones which had no use or the long orange streetlights in the distance. a spirit like this stays in the soul till you die and you never forget those good years the ones that came years before because you need to build on them. they set a standard and now we'll take anything but just being mediocre.
